Branch Manager – Alaminos Branch

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and controlling the activities of the Branch.

The branch is deposit service unit responsible for funds generating services and attainment of deposit, growth and profitability targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Sets objectives, targets, and strategies of the branch in support to the goals and objectives of the bank.
  2. Formulates financial, operating, capital and manpower budgets of the branch.
  3. Formulates plans and implement marketing strategies to attain assigned deposit, growth and profitability targets for the year.
  4. Promotes and sells all product lines of the bank.
  5. Directs the implementation of approved policies, plans and budgets to achieve the established overall objectives and targets of the branch.
  6. Attends to the needs of clients of the branch to develop relationship and promote bank’s services, develop existing accounts, solicit prospective depositors/clients thru clients call, and ensure that client concerns are promptly and efficiently attended to.
  7. Endorses potential borrowers and coordinate with the lending units of the bank to service loan requirements.
  8. Monitors regularly actual performance vis-a-vis budgeted target,plans, and standards, analyzes deviation, pinpoints areas for improvements and direct appropriate courses of solution.
  9. Ensures strict compliance with all internal, CB, BAP and other government agencies rules and regulation in all bank transaction.
  10. Ensures that the bank premises, fixed assets and equipments are well maintained and adequately secured.
  11. Directs, guides, trains, motivates and evaluates performance of the staff directly supervised.
  12. Ensures coordination and harmonious working relation between the section of the branch and with other work unit of the bank.
  13. Represents the branch in various meetings as well as activities of professional and civic organizations in the locality.
  14. Performs other duties as maybe assigned by the Immediate Superior.
  15. Prepares and submit reports for Mancom every month.


    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Candidate must at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Administration, Management, Commerce or equivalent
    • 5 year(s) branch supervisory/officer experience
    • Professionally mature
    • Excellent people management skills
    • Management experience, strong communication, people management skills, business skills and decision-making skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • With Driving skills

      WORKING CONDITIONS

      Renders work in office/bank setting. Position requires field work.
